An Awakening in the Christian kingdom Now, why not? As Christians destined for the unity of Christian love, we still have the Bible and access to the Spirit in spite of the great apostasy of the Falling Away (II Timothy 4:3,4). Granted it is too late in the history of Christianity, just before the END, to have a major kingdom revival; however since revival is a man and denominational made word and concept, what we can reasonably expect and work for is a spike or perturbation in the falling away trend, called like in Acts 3:19 "so that TIMES OF REFRESHING may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19). It may can only be among a few hundred or thousand Christians in any one country, and definitely not in one church or denomination; but in spite of the Doctrinal History of Christianity, there is no Biblical reason not to legitimately hope for, at least for a few years and among a few Christians, an Awakening, not Great like in early American History, but a temporal burst of AN AWAKENING REFRESHING! HOW? 1. Get your head out of the isolated group hole that you are in, and face up to the Bible realities of the world in which we live. 2. Cast your mental tents on the difference between the majority of the world and the minority, or "few" that travel the narrow way to life eternal. 3. Become a Friend of Jesus of humble unselfish service, a challenge sufficient for the Falling Away. 4. Join the ALL Scripture Movement and Approach. 5. Become more deeply involved in the Word itself while exercising your own soul competency and priesthood as a believer. |
“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” (Matthew 6:26-30) Faith, You, Birds, and Flowers l. Look at the birds of the air. li. You are much better than the beautiful birds in the sight of God. lii. Consider the flowers. liii. Have more Faith. |
